A'tun Sunga

Angel of Courage

The word courage comes to us originally from the Latin word cor and in its more recognizable form from the Old French word corage. Both terms mean “heart,” the latter referring to the heart as the seat of emotions, our innermost feelings.

A’Tun Sunga (which means “great courage” in the Quechua language) represents not just heroic and brave actions but also the inner strength for us to speak from our heart about who we are and what we stand for without compromise. The Lion and the heart are synonymous with courage
